Larence Snow is the bastard of Hornwood. He is the illegitimate son of Lord Halys Hornwood. He is eleven years old and under the guardianship of House Glover.[1]

After the death of Lord Halys Hornwood and his son Daryn, many parties have started competing to inherit the title of Lord of Hornwood. In discussions at Winterfell during the harvest feast, Larence is seen as a possible candidate, an idea supported by Bran Stark whom Larence reminds of his own half-brother Jon Snow. Rodrik Cassel thinks this would please the Glovers while Lady Donella might resent her husband's bastard being made heir. However, Maester Luwin thinks the scenario cannot be ruled out. Later on, Rodrik questions the steward of Deepwood Motte, who came to Winterfell in place of Sybelle Glover, about Larence and is being told that the boy has wits and courage.[2]
