Lark, known as the Sisterman[1] and Lark the Sisterman,[2] is a ranger of the Night's Watch.

Character and Appearance
Lark is a thin man, with sharp features and nervous eyes.[2] He is considered mean.[3]
History
Lark comes from the Three Sisters, a group of islands ruled by the Vale of Arryn. His cousin is Rolley of Sisterton.[1]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Lark and Chett come upon Jon Snow as he is talking to Gilly, one of Craster's wives. Lark attempts to snatch a rabbit from Ghost, but falls on his back instead.[3] Jon later overhears him and Chett talking about mutiny.[4]
A Storm of Swords
Lark is part of the great ranging, the force that leaves Castle Black in search of the wildlings. He is one of the conspirators in the plot to kill Lord Commander Jeor Mormont and others at the Fist of the First Men. His part in the failed conspiracy is to kill Dywen and Bannen with the help of his cousins.[2]
Lark is turned into a wight at some point, for he is one of the wights that come after Samwell Tarly and Gilly in the unnamed wildling village. The undead Lark is attacked by ravens, allowing Sam and Gilly to be rescued by Coldhands.[5]
