Dorne and the location of Lemonwood

Lemonwood is the seat of House Dalt in Dorne. It lies just south of the mouth of the Greenblood, near Planky Town.[1][2]

History

Prior to the coming of the Andals, some High Kings of Dorne resided at a wooden motte-and-bailey castle near Lemonwood, but their river kingdom eventually splintered.[3]

During the First Dornish War, Lemonwood was captured by Rhaenys Targaryen. Her sister, Visenya Targaryen, unleashed the dragonflame of Vhagar on Lemonwood after Dornishmen attacked Cape Wrath.[4]
