Lord Commander of the Kingsguard

Lord Commander of the Kingsguard is the title held by the most senior officer of the Kingsguard. The Lord Commander is appointed by the king, generally from the existing pool of Kingsguard. He is a member of the Small Council The current Lord Commander is Ser Jaime Lannister.
