Lord Paramount of the Stormlands

Lord Paramount of the Stormlands is a title granted by the Iron Throne to the liege lord of the stormlands within the Seven Kingdoms.[1]
History
Argilac Durrandon, the last Storm King, was killed by Orys Baratheon in the Last Storm during Aegon's Conquest. Aegon the Conqueror named Orys the Lord Paramount of the Stormlands and Hand of the King. Argilac's seat, Storm's End, was also granted to House Baratheon.[1]
Known Lords Paramount of the Stormlands
- Lord Orys Baratheon, called Orys One-Hand, first Lord Paramount of the Stormlands and Hand of the King to King Aegon the Conqueror.[2]
- Lord Rogar Baratheon, grandson of Orys, Hand of the King and Protector of the Realm to King Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[3][4][5][1]
- Lord Boremund Baratheon, Rogar's son, lord during the Great Council of 101 AC.[6]
- Lord Borros Baratheon, Boremund's son, lord during the final days of King Viserys I Targaryen and the Dance of the Dragons.[6]
- Lord Royce Baratheon, Borros's son, lord during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[7]
- The unnamed father of Gowen Baratheon.[8]
- Lord Lyonel Baratheon, called the Laughing Storm, lord during the reign of King Aegon V Targaryen.[9] Briefly rebelled against the Iron Throne, declaring himself Storm King.[10]
- Lord Ormund Baratheon, heir of Lyonel. Hand of the King to King Jaehaerys II Targaryen.[10][1]
- Lord Steffon Baratheon, Ormund's son, lord during the reign of King Aerys II Targaryen.[11]
- Lord Robert Baratheon, Steffon's eldest son, crowned king after winning the rebellion which was named after him and taking the Iron Throne from Aerys II Targaryen.[12]
- Lord Renly Baratheon, Steffon's youngest son, succeeded his older brother Robert as Lord Paramount and Lord of Storm's End.[2]
