King Loreon Lannister, known as Loreon the Lion, was the first true King of the Rock of House Lannister of Casterly Rock in historical record. He made House Reyne of Castamere his vassals by wedding a daughter of that house. He had at least three sons. They died when lions from within Casterly Rock broke free.[1]

King Loreon fought and defeated Morgon Banefort, the Hooded King, and his thralls, in a war that lasted twenty years.[1]
