Luthor Largent was a commander of the City Watch of King's Landing during the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. He is described as very tall and fierce.
The Princess and the Queen
When King's Landing was invaded during the Fall of King's Landing, Largent and his gold cloaks were loyal to Daemon Targaryen who was there former commander. When he invaded the city watch turned against The greens who ruled King's Landing at the time. Largent personally killed Gwayne Hightower.
When Princess Helaena commited suicide. Many of the smallfolk believed (incorrectly) that Largent killed her under the orders of his Queen.
During the riots of King's landing, Ser Lurgent led 500 Gold Cloaks down Cobbler's Square. The Gold cloaks despite being well armed and well disciplined were not match against ten thousand rioters. Largent was pulled down from his saddle , stabbed in the stomach, and bludgeoned to death to death. His body was only recognized by it's size.[1]
