Ser Luthor Largent was a knight who served as commander of the City Watch of King's Landing during the civil known as the Dance of the Dragons.

Archmaester Gyldayn describes Luthor as very tall and fierce.[1]
History
The Princess and the Queen
When the capital was invaded during the Fall of King's Landing, Largent and his gold cloaks were loyal to Prince Daemon Targaryen, who was their former commander. When Daemon invaded the City Watch turned against the greens who ruled King's Landing at the time. Luthor personally killed his second-in-command, Ser Gwayne Hightower.
When Princess Helaena Targaryen committed suicide, many of the smallfolk believed (incorrectly) that Luthor killed her under the orders of his queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen.
During the riots of King's landing, Luthor led five hundred gold cloaks down Cobbler's Square. The gold cloaks, despite being well-armed and well-disciplined, were no match against ten thousand rioters. Largent was pulled down from his armored warhorse, stabbed in the stomach, and bludgeoned to death. Ser Glendon Goode recovered Luthor's corpse from the riots; his body was only recognized by its size.[1]
