Lyman Lannister was the Lord of Casterly Rock and head of House Lannister during the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen. He was married to Lady Jocasta Lannister.[1]

History

Lord Lyman protected Prince Aegon and Princess Rhaena Targaryen, extending guest right and refusing King Maegor I Targaryen's demands to turn them over. However, Lyman did not pledge his swords to the fugitive prince and princess, nor did he stir himself from Casterly Rock after Aegon perished at his uncle's hands during the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye in 43 AC. When Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen put forward his claim to the Iron Throne, Lyman rallied to his support.[2]
