Lymond Hightower, known as the Sea Lion, was the last of the independent Hightower kings to rule over Oldtown.
History
The Sea Lion fought against King Theon III Greyjoy after ceasing paying tribute to the High King of the Iron Islands and slew the ironborn king. He revived the First Men practice of thralldom, still practiced by the ironborn, long enough to set the captured ironmen to hard labor strenghtening the walls of Oldtown.[1]
He also married a daughter of House Gardener as part of an alliance to bring Oldtown under the rule of House Gardener.[2]
