When the Golden Company arrived in Volantis, Lysono went disguised in the harbor to try and arrange passage to Meereen but could find no trade ships on route there since slaves were no longer sold there and the fighting pits were now closed. He stated as much to Jon Connington when he arrived to discuss how to get to Daenerys Targaryen. Like the rest of the company he swears his allegiance to Aegon Targaryen when Aegon proposes they invade Westeros now instead of going east. This news is welcomed by many of the company as there are plenty of ships sailing west and the Triarchs of Volantis even pledged a dozen warships to assist the Golden Company as they did not want an army outside their gates.
