Ser Mark Mullendore is a member of House Mullendore from the Reach. He owned a little black-and-white monkey.[1]
Contents
History
Ser Mark was a part of the wager over who would claim the maidenhead of Brienne of Tarth. He used his monkey to make her laugh in his attempt to woo her. Lord Randyll Tarly found out about the wager and put an end to it.[2] After the bet was discovered and ended, Brienne sought out and defeated Ser Mark during the melee at Bitterbridge.[3]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Ser Mark is amongst the lords who joined Renly I beneath the walls of Bitterbridge. He fed his monkey morsels at the feast. He is among those who go over to Stannis Baratheon after the death of Renly.
He fights at the Battle of the Blackwater, losing part of his arm and getting captured by forces loyal to King Joffrey I. He bent the knee when presented to the throne.
A Feast for Crows
Ser Mark is rumored to be Megga Tyrell's choice for a husband by Taena of Myr.[4] Queen Cersei had an arrest warrant signed for Mark as part of her plans to remove Margaery Tyrell.[5]
