Princess Mariah Nymeros Martell was the wife of King Daeron II Targaryen.

History

As a way for House Targaryen to make peace with Dorne after the conquest by King Daeron I Targaryen, King Baelor I Targaryen arranged the marriage of his nephew, Prince Daeron, to the Dornish princess Mariah. Once Daeron himself was king, he offered his younger sister, Daenerys in marriage to Mariah's brother, Maron Martell, Prince of Dorne, thereby bringing Dorne into the Seven Kingdoms.[1]
