Octarch of the Old Empire is one of the titles assumed by Hizdahr zo Loraq after he assumes the throne of Meereen following the dissapperance of Daenerys Targaryen.[1]. The term "Old Empire" refers to the Old Empire of Ghis, whereas its is unknown if Octarch was an actual position within the defunct empire or an invention of the modern Ghiscari.
