Ormond Yronwood was the Lord of Yronwood and the head of House Yronwood.[2] He was the father of Anders Yronwood and the son of Lord Edgar Yronwood.[3]

Arianne Martell recalls the argument her parents, Prince Doran Martell and Lady Mellario, had concerning her brother's fostering at Yronwood to repay the blood debt between House Martell and House Yronwood caused by Prince Oberyn Martell. During the argument, Doran proclaimed it was the only solution Lord Ormond would accept.[2]
