A Dance With Dragons
Owen is one of the men brought along as muscle to assist Lord Commander Jon Snow in escorting Janos Slynt out of Castle Black to carry out his duties as garrison commander of Greyguard. After Slynt's execution, Owen asks if he can have Slynt's boots.[3]
Owen attends the wedding of Alys Karstark and Sigorn, and plays his fiddle at the wedding feast. He also dances with Patchface, which causes the other guests to laugh. He listens nervously with the rest of the attendees after two horn blasts are heard coming from the watchers on the Wall, and titters with relief after no third blast is heard.[4]
