Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Ser Parmen is part of King Renly Baratheon's army encamped beneath Bitterbridge and a member of the Rainbow Guard, Renly's version of the Kingsguard.[3] Parmen stands guard with Ser Emmon Cuy outside Renly's tent when Lady Catelyn Tully comes to see Renly before the battle at Storm's End with his brother, Stannis Baratheon. When Renly is murdered within his tent a short while later, Parmen is not present.[2]
Upon seeing Renly's corpse, Ser Loras Tyrell kills in a blood rage Emmon and Robar, supposing they must have aided the murder. Somehow, only Parmen gets away from Loras's rage, despite being on duty as Renly's guard alongside Emmon.[4]
After Renly's death, Parmen defects to Stannis Baratheon. Parmen and Ser Erren Florent are sent to retrieve Renly's foot soldiers encamped at Bitterbridge.[5]
A Storm of Swords
Parmen is imprisoned at Highgarden after being captured by Loras.[6]
