Lord Philip Foote is the Lord of Nightsong and Lord of the Marches. He is one-eyed.[1] He was born to House Foote in the Westerlands.
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
During the Battle of the Blackwater, where Ser Philip fought for the combined Lannister-Tyrell army, he fought and killed Lord Bryce Caron, the Lord of Nightsong, in single combat. After the battle he was named the new Lord of Nightsong and given all the lands, rights and incomes of House Caron.[2]
A Storm of Swords
Lord Philip attended the wedding of Sansa Stark and Tyrion Lannister. He was among the gathered nobility that welcomed the Dornish party headed by Prince Oberyn Martell to King's Landing.[3] Lord Philip attended the wedding of Margaery Tyrell and King Joffrey I. Lord Philip was called as a witness for the prosecution in the trial of Tyrion Lannister for the death of King Joffrey I. He told of how he saw Tyrion fill the wedding chalice.[4]
