Platinum is a silvery white precious metal.
Culture
Platinum is one of the metals used by maesters for their chains;[1] the subject it represents is unknown. The chain of Grand Maester Pycelle has more links of precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum than baser metals.[2]
People of Valyrian descendant, such as the Targaryens, usually have silver-gold or platinum white hair.[3][4]
