Prentys Tully was a Lord of Riverrun and head of House Tully during the reign of Maegor I Targaryen. His wife was the pious Lady Lucinda Broome.[1]

History

Lord Prentys fought for King Maegor during the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye in 43 AC. By 48 AC he became one of the first great lords to abandon the king, opening the gates of Riverrun to Ser Joffrey Doggett, the fugitive Grand Captain of the outlawed Warrior's Sons.[2] After Maegor's death, Prentys served as the master of laws and justiciar for King Jaehaerys I Targaryen. Lord Tully suggested that the king wed his wife's younger sister, but Jaehaerys instead married his sister, Alysanne Targaryen.[1]

Prentys attended the tourney at King's Landing commemorating the tenth anniversary of the king's coronation. Prentys and his wife died from the shivers a day apart from each other.[3]
