Ser Quincy Cox, also called the Knight of Saltpans, is the head of House Cox. He is old and has a castle in Saltpans.[1]

When Saltpans is raided by a group reportedly led by Sandor Clegane (actually Rorge wearing Clegane's signature Hound helmet), Ser Quincy order his castle gates shut and never leaves the castle to help the inhabitants of the town. The town is burned and the smallfolk scatter.[1] He did not come out to help the smallfolk during the sack. Septon Meribald defends Quincy by saying that his sons and good-sons are dead or off fighting, his grandsons are still too young and he has two daughters. He had nothing to face the outlaws with.
