Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

Red Ralf urges Lord Captain Victarion Greyjoy to make a claim on the Seastone Chair.[1] Ralf is one of Victarion's champions at the kingsmoot.[2] At the feast celebrating the ironborn victory at the Battle of the Shield Islands, Ralf is one of those who shout down King Euron Greyjoy's plans to sail to Slaver's Bay, preferring instead to attack the Arbor.[3]

A Dance with Dragons

Victarion Greyjoy gives Red Ralf the Iron Fleet's swiftest ships to sail the corsair's road along the northern coast of Sothoryos, where there are provisions for men who are not afraid to pay the iron price in the mud-and-blood towns in the Basilisk Isles. Victarion gave orders to reunite off the southern tip of the Isle of Cedars; only nine of the ships that had sailed with Red Ralf turn up, with Ralf himself among the missing.[4]
