Rhaenys Targaryen was the daughter of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell. She had brown hair and looked like a Martell. [1]

History

She had a small black kitten that she named Balerion, after the great black dragon of Aegon I.[2]

During the Sack of King's Landing, The terrified girl was hiding under her father's bed dressed in a nightshirt. Rhaenys was dragged out and stabbed by Ser Amory Lorch with "half a hundred thrusts."[3] Tywin Lannister commanded the deaths of Rhaenys and her brother Aegon to prove his loyalty to Robert Baratheon.[4]

After Rhaenys and Aegon's deaths, Tywin Lannister presented their bodies to Robert clothed in red Lannister cloaks (to better conceal the blood).[5]
