Ser Richard Horpe is a member of House Horpe and a Queen's Man. As a squire he dreamed of a white cloak, but Cersei Lannister spoke against him and Robert Baratheon passed him over. He is said to lust for battle.[1]

Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
Ser Richard is sworn to King Stannis I. He is among the knights who go north to the Wall with him.[3] During the battle of the Wall, Ser Richard slew Dormund, one of Tormund Giantsbane's sons.
A Dance with Dragons
He sits on Stannis war council and later accompanies his King as he retakes Deepwood Motte and later marches on Winterfell as his second-in-command.
The Winds of Winter
He is present when Stannis interrogates Tybald about his loyalties. He is then put in charge of disarming Arnolf Karstark's men while Stannis breaks his fast with Arnolf and his son and grandsons.[4]
