Rodrik Sparr is a member of House Sparr from the Iron Islands. He is the captain of the ship Grief in the Iron Fleet and is under the command of Victarion Greyjoy. His crew call him the Vole.[2][1]

The Vole is a small, hairy, and homely man.[2]

Rodrik's ship, Grief, and crew accompany the Iron Fleet when they sail to Slaver's Bay. The Vole presents Moqorro to Victarion Greyjoy.[2]
