Rollo was a septon of the Faith of the Seven during the reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen.
History
After King Jaehaerys wed his sister,Queen Alysanne, Jaehaerys sent seven preachers to walk the realm and win the small folk over to the marriage, not with swords, but with words.
Septon Rollo was among these seven, the others were Queen Elinor, Septon Baldrick, Septon Alyfn, Septa Ysabel, Septa Violante and Mother Maris. They travelled the realm alone, walking from village to village, telling the commons of Jaehaerys wisdom and Alysannes kindness. When challenged on the issue of incest, the seven said the Valyrias mounted dragons and thus were not like other men, so an exception must be made. [1]
