Savior of the City is a title granted by King Joffrey Baratheon to Tywin Lannister, Warden of the West and Hand of the King, to honor him for his alleged role in saving King's Landing from the attack of Stannis Baratheon during the Battle of the Blackwater. This one of the many homages performed by the Iron Throne to whitewash the role of Tyrion Lannister for the victory.[1]
