Shepherd's Way is a broad cobbled street in King's Landing that runs eastward from Cobbler's Square up to the Dragonpit atop the Hill of Rhaenys. It's original name was Hill Street.[1]
History
On the last day of 130 AC, the Shepherd and his remaining two hundred forty-one followers were covered with pitch and chained to poles along Hill Street. As King Aegon II Targaryen advanced up the street in his litter, his knights lit the captives on fire with torches. At the end, Aegon set the Shepherd aflame himself. Hill Street was thereafter known as Shepherd's Way.[1]
