Signs and Portents is a book of visions written down by Daenys Targaryen, the maiden daughter of Aenar Targaryen, before the Doom of Valyria. For some time the whole book has been thought to be lost.[1]

A Feast for Crows

Lord Rodrik Harlaw is reading about Signs and Portents when Asha Greyjoy meets him in the Book Tower of Ten Towers. Hotho Harlaw brought him a copy of Archmaester Marwyn's Book of Lost Books from Oldtown. Rodrik tells Asha that Marwyn claims to have found three pages of Signs and Portents.[1]
