Silverwing was the dragon of Queen Alysanne Targaryen when she visited the Wall 200 years ago.[1][2] [3] Silverwing later fought in the civil war called the Dance of the Dragons.

Silverwing’s appearance has not been mentioned. Samwell Tarly wonders if Silverwing may have left an egg at the Wall so it may have been a female but Sam does not mention the dragon's gender. [3]
