Title Lady
Allegiance House Spicer
Spouse Lord Gawen Westerling
Books

Lady Sybell Spicer is the wife of Lord Gawen Westerling. She is the granddaughter of Maggy the Frog.

Recent Events

A Storm of Swords

Sybell was part of King Robb Stark's entourage when he returned from the Westerlands. She remained at Riverrun with her daughters Jeyne and Elenya and her son Rollam when Robb went off to the wedding of Lord Edmure Tully.[1]

After the Red Wedding Sybell was pardoned by the Iron Throne.[2]

A Feast for Crows

Sybell and her children were kept inside Riverrun during the siege. When Edmure surrendered Riverrun to Ser Jaime Lannister, Sybell sat down with Ser Jaime and told him of her complicity in the death of Robb Stark. She explained how she had made sure there was no heir from her daughter's union and how she had been promised lords or heirs as prospects for her son and daughters. Jaime informed her that the bride that had been promised from Casterly Rock for her son Rollam was Joy Hill, the bastard daughter of Gerion Lannister and that her brother Rolph was the newly made Lord of Castamere, thus giving the Spicers an actual seat. Sybell was upset that her eldest son was set to marry a bastard, though her complaints fall silent when Jaime Lannister makes his contempt for her plain and threatens her to stay out of his sight for the remainder of her time at Riverrun. Sybell left with her daughter the next morning for the West.[3]
