Preferably the Image would be something like [http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll163/h-e-r-y-/medieval_weapons_01_small.jpg this] i.e. an illustration not detailed deagram of actual weaponry as we dont know GRRM exact thoughts, thus I prefer to provide an illustration and yet leave much to the imagination, the books usually seem nicer that way. The only one I could find with an appropriate license is [http://www.flickr.com/photos/double-m2/4711118642/sizes/o/in/photostream/ this] but I think it deviates little to much from the books into reality. Just for interest, the description of the dornish weapons wasn't revealed until now, right? If anyone know some medieval-ish weapon illustration that we can use with permission or even better with an appropriate license, it's would be great.

Preferably the Image would be something like this i.e. an illustration not detailed deagram of actual weaponry as we dont know GRRM exact thoughts, thus I prefer to provide an illustration and yet leave much to the imagination, the books usually seem nicer that way. The only one I could find with an appropriate license is this but I think it deviates little to much from the books into reality. Mor 12:31, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Dornish weapons

Just for interest, the description of the dornish weapons wasn't revealed until now, right? In the TV-series the spearblades are flamed, like a "Kris", and the swords, in Season 5, seem to resemble "Scimitars", right? The only clear description of a dornish sword is "Dawn" as a greatsword, but this is a weapon of a House of "stony dornishmen" who are closer to the rest of Westeros than the rest of "salty" and "sandy" dornishmen. --Exodianecross (talk) 16:51, 19 April 2015 (CDT)
