Legitimation

Why wasn't Joy legitimized, by King Joffrey or Tommen? It's sure that "Joy Lannister" would be better for a marriage pact than "Joy Hill". --Exodianecross 13:52, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Legitimizing a bastard (Joy) that you plan to marry to another bastard (one of Walder Frey's bastard sons) will only bring trouble. --Rhaenys_Targaryen 14:30, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
I've meant it more generally. Joy was also part of a marriage pact to the Westerlings. --Exodianecross 14:32, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
That's Jaime's interpretation of it all. Whether Jaime is correct here, is the question, as we know that Joy had already been promised to another.--Rhaenys_Targaryen 14:34, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
