Reference to LORD OF THE RINGS?

Is the name of this dragon a hint to LOTR? In these books we have "Morgul-blades" and the town "Minas Morgul", assoziated with the Ringwraiths, the NAZGUL! --Exodianecross (talk) 10:49, 2 August 2015 (CDT)

There's also ' Valar MORGHULIS'

IMO Morghul has valyrian word for death in his name, and this valyrian word is reference to Tower of Dark Magic from Arda...

http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Minas_Morgul Morgul is w:Sindarin word for Dark Sorcery and minas means tower
