This wiki implies that Robert went to the Eyrie after the death of his parents. This is, IMO, far from a sure thing. When his parents died Robert was already 16 (old enough to act as Lord of the Stormlands in his own right). The wiki says: "Presumably honoring an existing agreement Lord Robert went to foster with Lord Jon Arryn at the Eyrie in the Vale of Arryn, along with Eddard Stark." Where does this "presumption" come from? And we know Eddard was sent to the Eyrie when he was 8 years old.--The hairy bear (Send me a raven) 16:47, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Here I was mainly going on the prologue of Clash, when Cressen recalls that Robert and Stannis were both there to see their father's ship go down. I'm sure Robert visited home occasionally while a ward; it could certainly go either way. --Ser_Aeron_Connel 16:49, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

It is clear that Robert returned to Eyrie after his parents death in 278 AC since he fathered Mya Stone 19 years before A Song of Swords in about 281 AC. It was stated that Jon Arryn revolted because he could not would not turn over Ned and Robert. The first battle of the revolt was at Gulltown, that Robert led the assault before he railed the Stormlands. This all shows that Robert was in the Vale after his parents death and was there at the start of the revolt. --Ser Ash the Red 18:23, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Well, yes, it's clear that he was in the Eyrie after his parents' deaths, but it's not entirely clear that he was there beforehand. --Ser_Aeron_Connel 08:42, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
