Tin is a soft silvery-colored metal, used to make the alloys bronze and pewter.

Culture

Lead, iron, and tin are abundant on Great Wyk, Harlaw, and Orkmont in the Iron Islands.[1] The Forest of Qohor has silver, tin, and amber,[2] and the mainland near Braavos has iron, tin, lead, and slate.[3] Gold, iron, and tin are abundant on mountain Ib.[4]

Tin is one of the metals used by maesters for their chain links.[5]

Thenns mine tin and copper to make bronze.[6]

History

The Valyrians of antiquity used slaves to unearth copper and tin from the Fourteen Flames.[7]

House Yronwood grew rich from mining iron, silver, and tin from their lands.[8]
