Septa Unella is a septa of the Faith of the Seven in service at the Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing.[1] She is one of the Most Devout.[2]

Appearance

She is described as big boned with callused hands and a scowling homely face.

Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

Septa Unella is one of the septas assigned to get a confession out of Queen Margaery Tyrell. Margaery confessed that she wanted to claw Unella's eyes out. After Cersei was arrested, Unella became her confessor too.[1]

A Dance with Dragons

She continues to be one of the Holy Septa's who visit Cersei Lannister every hour of the day or night and asking her to confess. When Unella visits Cersei on one of the hourly visits Cersei finally relents and tells Unella she wishes to confess her sins to his High Holiness. Unella is one of the septas who brings her before the High Sparrow. When the High Septon allows Cersei visitors Unella summons Kevan Lannister to see her. Unella is asked by the High Septon to stay and written record of Cersei confession. Septa Unella, Moelle and Scolera are part of the escort for Cersei Lannister as she completes her penance walk through the streets of King's Landing.
