Hi PL,

In the past you have added maps as references: A Game of Thrones-Map of the North and A Storm of Swords-Map of the North. The maps are then registered as not yet existing articles.

Hi Pale Griffin,

Of course the maps are references but officially the maps are copyright. So what are we going to do? I think we have the following options:

* Scan the maps from the book and add them under "fair use". This is the same as the images of the book covers.

* Other option is to change the reference from a link to an article to a hard copy reference. Instead we could add the non-copyright maps which we can change as we see fit, to the articles itself.

:I have found & uploaded a number of maps that are based on a non copyright map that was originally made on wikipedia. The original wik map it is licensed under the GNU which means we can freely use and change it. I used Paint to add a few names of towns & castles. There is currently a map for each region (see for instance the North), and also on of the whole of Westeros: see Westeros.

:About the spoilers: I guess if we just add geographical info it will not spoil the story. We can start there.

I see that when you created the Red Waste article you wrote that that's where Khal Drogo died, but I think that's wrong. Didn't he died on the Dothraki Sea? The first mention of the Red Waste is in A Clash of Kings. --Dieguez 21:29, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

:If we would want to show for instance the travels of Daenerys then it is different. We should use a different map for those kind of things. We can copy a "normal map" and change it. I believe that on La Guarde de Nuit there were using something that hides the info unless you press it to show it. I'll have a look. Scafloc 18:28, 18 March 2011 (CDT)

Hello, I saw that you have created the article about Maggy, what would you think about a site for the prophecies, and the interpretations? --Exodianecross 20:25, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
Thank you. I am happy the templates worked. Now we can map the whole of Westeros! Scafloc 13:31, 10 April 2011 (CDT)

Walder River's wife

Hi Pale Griffin,

I've seen that you've put some "Lady Charlston" is given as Walder River's wife in the gentrees of some articles. I have not been able to find a source for this. Am I missing it, or it's a mistake?--The hairy bear (Send me a raven) 22:22, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Khal Drogo's death

I see that when you created the Red Waste article you wrote that that's where Khal Drogo died, but I think that's wrong. Didn't he died on the Dothraki Sea? The first mention of the Red Waste is in A Clash of Kings. --Dieguez 21:29, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
