The Wyl[1] or River Wyl[2] is a river in the Red Mountains of northern Dorne.[2] The ruins of Vulture's Roost are near the source of the river, which flows eastward past the Boneway to the castle of Wyl and the Sea of Dorne.[3]

History

During the First Dornish War, Lord Orys Baratheon was captured by the Wyl of Wyl when his column was ambushed by Dornish archers where the Boneway crosses the Wyl.[1]
