History
Rohanne's betrothal to Daemon Blackfyre was arranged by King Aegon IV Targaryen, Daemon's father, and the Archon of Tyrosh. Following the death of King Aegon IV in 184 AC, his successor and Daemon's half-brother, King Daeron II Targaryen, paid the dowry the late King Aegon IV had promised the Archon, and saw his half-brother wed. Rohanne was married to the fourteen-year old Daemon in 184 AC.[2] Their first children, the twins Aegon and Aemon, were born that same year.[3] In total, Rohanne would birth seven sons for Daemon, and at least two daughters.[2]
After the First Blackfyre Rebellion ended with the deaths of Daemon and his eldest two sons, Rohanne and her remaining children fled to Tyrosh along with another one of Daemon's half-brothers, Aegor Rivers. They remained in Tyrosh for years after.[2]
In 212 AC, when Daemon II Blackfyre was captured at Whitewalls by the crown after the abortive Second Blackfyre Rebellion, Brynden Rivers noted if he executed him, his mother would mourn.[4]
