A Wiki of Ice and Fire:Community Portal

Job list is a list of things you can do to contribute. Basically it consists of:

• Requested articles a list articles requested by users. Pick an article or add a request yourself.

The Long Night, Azor Ahai, The Prince That Was Promised.

• Category:Improve these articles. Articles where there is room for improvement.
• "Wanted articles Not (yet) existing articles with the count of links to them.
• Stubs. Short articles you can enlarge.
• Orphaned pages Pages that are not linked from other pages in this wiki.

A Wiki of Ice and Fire is a continuous project. On the Ideas page are some ideas / discussions how to give the wiki further shape. Feel free to add your own ideas and comments.

Sources and Copying

Information for the content of pages comes from a lot of different sources. If the source of your contributions is something other than the books, please state your sources.

Copying from wikipedia is ok; the content of wikipedia is free but there are some rules. They are stated in Copying from Wikipedia.

In short you have to refer to the original article. This is a must! A good way to do this is using the template {{EnWP|<article from wikipedia>}}

• Welcome to new users! You can use this template to welcome new users. Add it with {{welcome}} to their Talk Page. Or you can design a welcome yourself.
• Questions. Write your questions on this page. Somebody will answer them soon. Alternatively you can write them on the Talk page of the articles.

• Did you know. Article with a number of facts about Ice and Fire. Every day a different fact is displayed on the Main Page.
• Feature quote. Article with a number of quotes about Ice and Fire. Like the facts every day one is displayed on the Main Page.

At this moment there are not yet feature articles. In the future they will be listed below.

Collaboration of the month

Every month an article is selected by the users to be improved. The idea is to improve the article by joint effort.
