Summary

A group of soldiers exhausted by battle. Their faces are blackened with ash and soot, as the battle was fought in the city that burns behind them. Breathless and thankful to be alive, they have regrouped juts outside of the city, and have paused a moment to catch their breath and rest the tired muscles in their arms and backs.
