Social status / Bastardy in Dorne

According to the books it seems that bastardy in Dorne is more accepted than in the other parts in Westeros! The paramour of Oberyn Martell, Ellaria Sand, is a respected person I think, also Oberyns daughters, the Sand Snakes! Bastardy and kinslayling

Maybe we should point out in the article that even if having bastards is disgraceful, it would be kinslaying to kill them, regardless of the status.--Exodianecross (talk) 17:42, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

Assumptions

In how many articles of characters with bastard surnames do we only assume they're actually bastards, without it having been stated in the text? Samwell Stone seems to be one. He could be the trueborn son of a bastard named Stone. Potsk (talk) 20:22, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
