Ben Beesbury, called Blind Ben, was the Lord of Honeyholt and the head of House Beesbury during the reign of King Robert I Baratheon.[1]

Appearance

An aged lord, Ben Beesbury was blind and toothless as he met his eighties, earning him the name "Blind Ben".[1]

History

Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne, attempted to betroth his daughter, Princess Arianne Martell, to Ben, a minor lordling who was blind, toothless, and eighty years old at the time. To Arianne's relief, Ben died a few years later before the betrothal was completed.[1]

According to semi-canon sources, Ben had one son named Alton. Alton joined the Citadel to become a maester and renounced his inheritance despite Ben's protests. Upon Ben's death, he was succeeded by his nephew, Warryn Beesbury.[3]
