Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

After Cersei gives Senelle to Qyburn to be a subject in his experiments, Dorcas becomes Cersei's chief handmaid. She is present when three lowborn men present Cersei the head of a dwarf, intending to pass it as the head of Tyrion Lannister. After seeing the rotting head crawling with maggots, Dorcas gasps, while Jocelyn Swyft throws up.[3]

Dorcas blushes when Cersei orders her to fetch Ser Osney Kettleblack. Lady Taena Merryweather asks Cersei why Dorcas reacted that way, and Cersei replies that Dorcas fancies Osney, and that she believes Dorcas likes his scars. Taena agrees that scars make a man look dangerous, and that danger excites women.[3]

Dorcas prepares a bath for Cersei, who is soaking in the warm water when Jaime bursts through the door and orders Dorcas and Jocelyn to leave the room. Later, Dorcas helps the queen into her new gown.[2] Dorcas goes to the kitchens when Cersei commands her to bring them up some bread and cheese and a bit of boiled beef with horseradish, and later the Queen commands Dorcas to bring the new crown to her.[4] Dorcas is asleep beside Taena when Cersei wakes her up to find and fetch her Grand Maester Pycelle.[4]

To amuse young King Tommen I Baratheon's kittens, Dorcas makes a toy mouse from scraps of fur, tied to a fishing pole.[5]
