From A Wiki of Ice and Fire
The Driftwood Throne is the ancient high seat of House Velaryon of Driftmark, an island named after its driftwood.[1]
History
According to legend, the throne was given by the Merling King as part of a pact with the Velaryons, who had settled in Westeros before the Targaryens.[1]
Corlys Velaryon, Lord of the Tides, moved the Driftwood Throne from Driftmark to High Tide prior to the Dance of the Dragons.[1][2] It is unknown if the throne survived the burning of High Tide which followed the Battle in the Gullet.
