Grand Maester's chambers are the residence of the Grand Maester within the Red Keep.
History
When the severely-ill Princess Aerea Targaryen returned to King's Landing in 56 AC on Balerion after having been missing for more than a year, Barth, the Hand of the King, helped Grand Maester Benifer care for her. He announced to King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and Queen Alysanne Targaryen, who waited outside the Grand Maester's chambers, when Aerea had died.[1]
It is unclear if these chambers are the same as Pycelle's chambers, near the lower bailey of the Red Keep,[2] as Pycelle only became Grand Maester in 259 AC, more than two centuries after Aerea's death, giving it plenty of time for the chambers to perhaps have been moved for whatever reason.
