Lord Costayne was the Lord of the Three Towers and the head of House Costayne during the reign of King Daeron II Targaryen.[1]
History
Lord Costayne supported Daemon I Blackfyre during his rebellion in 196 AC. He fought on the left side of the Blackfyre host at the Battle of the Redgrass Field. As a young boy, Prince Aegon "Egg" Targaryen would re-enact the battle with his brother Aemon using small painted soldiers and banners. From these childhood games, he recognized the previous Lord Costayne and his lineage as Blackfyre rebels and knew where their forces fought in the battle.[1]
By 212 AC, Lord Costayne had been succeeded as head of the house by his son.[1]
