The Stone Garden is a garden and godswood found within Casterly Rock.
Layout
[edit]The Stone Garden is found in a cave within Casterly Rock.[1] Its twisted weirwood, which is a tenth the size of the colossal dead heart tree found in the godswood of Raventree Hall,[2] has tangled roots which fill the room and choke out other plantlife.[1]
History
[edit]Young Cersei Lannister wept when her father, Lord Tywin Lannister, Hand of the King, sent for her to join the court of King Aerys II Targaryen in King's Landing. Genna Lannister eventually sat her niece down in the Stone Garden, however, and explained that there was no one in the capital for Cersei to fear.[3]
