Asshai is on Essos
I'll have to find the precise ref, but in GoT Drogo muses on taking his khalasar to sack Asshai. Since this is when he is balking at crossing the Narrow Sea by ship, Asshai must logically be on the Essos mainland and reachable by land from Vaes Dothrak.--Werthead 14:32, 10 July 2011 (CDT)
